Qualified Manufacturer ID (QMID)

To claim the credit, homeowners will need to provide the 4-digit Qualified Manufacturer ID (QMID) for the product they purchased alongside proof of purchase and installation. Regency is listed on the IRS's list of qualified manufacturers as "FPI Fireplace Products International Ltd."

How to Claim Your US Biomass Tax Credit:

  1. Purchase & Install an approved unit from an IRS Qualified Manufacturer before Dec. 31, 2025
  2. Complete IRS Form 5695 when filing your taxes

  • Make sure to include the 4-digit Qualified Manufacturer ID (QMID) code on your form while submitting
  • Products must be claimed on the tax return year in which the product installation is complete
